Within each township, find File 01 and read that first. There are important tips that are standard to the project and township specific exceptions are noted. Take notice of the names mentioned in the miscellaneous folder which could not be placed otherwise. Please note OCR was attempted, but due to the predominate use of handwriting and old manual typewriters, very little OCR was achieved. Dust off those search skills.
Please note: several family cemeteries in this township where moved as a result of construction of the Shearon Harris nuclear plant and reservoir. Graves were moved to Bethel Church and Shady Grove Church, both in Buckhorn Township; and to Collins Grove Church in Holly Springs Township. Be sure to check those church files in case a marker was placed with the move.
