Speaker: Diane L. Richard, Principle, Mosaic Research and Project Management
In recent years, some great online map resources have become available, making the use of maps for genealogy much easier than before. To guide us through the possibilities, Diane L. Richard will start with an overview of map resources (including a handout chock-full of such). She will discuss different types of maps and their unique contributions to physically placing our ancestors on their land. Finally, Diane will share some examples of using maps to solve genealogical problems.
All WCGS meetings are free and open to the public. Bring a friend! Refreshments will be served during social time after the presentation.
